It’s time for the second annual EKU Trivia Night on the historic Elmwood Mansion lawn! Gather teams of your smartest friends and family and show up for a night of fun.
WBON-TV sat down with Dan McBride, Associate Vice President of Development and Alumni Engagement at EKU, who told us the plethora of events that will transpire Thursday night for the yearly event.
At trivia night, participants will get to tour the first level of the Elmwood Mansion, purchase dinner, desserts, or drinks from food trucks, participate in a raffle, and compete to win prizes as a team.
Tables and chairs will be provided, but all are welcome to bring blankets and/or chairs. Food trucks will be on the property, including Apollo Pizza, Straight From Texas Bar B Que, Kyle’s kitchen, Kona Ice of the Bluegrass, and M&D Catering.
Tours of the historic home will be held at 6pm with quizzing to begin at 7pm.
McBride says that pre-registration is encouraged but not required, with a maximum of 8 players per team. The best team name will also win a prize!
The event will be hosted on Thursday, July 25th from 6-9pm. Parking will be available in both lots to the right and left of Elmwood off of Lancaster Ave.
