Members of the Madison County High Intensity Drug Task Force and the Richmond Police Department took a Richmond man in on drug and firearm charges yesterday with a street value of $60,000. A search warrant was executed at the Johnathan Drive residence of Edward James Anderson IV last night around 8 pm. Officers seized around 800 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 215 of heroin, as well as Xanax.
They were also able to recover three firearms, one of which was reportedly stolen. Anderson was charged with aggravated trafficking as he had over 100 grams of suspected heroin, trafficking in methamphetamine, receiving stolen property of a firearm, and possession of a controlled substance.
