The incident occurred in the wee hours of Wednesday morning before 3 a.m.
The robbery instigated a high-speed pursuit that was terminated, when the subject wrecked into a tanker truck just past exit 95 on I-75, but then fled on foot in the vicinity. An extensive manhunt was initiated for the suspect this morning in the area. As of publication of this update, the suspect was still at large.
Dan’s Discount Pawn suffered extensive damage to the building but tells WBON-TV9 they are back open and ready to serve customers.
