New animal cruelty charges resulted in a Richmond man coming to court, and then being taken into custody for a short period of time. Robert Lopez was originally arrested last month, after Wbontv’s video footage of dogs that allegedly belonged to him on his back deck fighting violently was released.
Lopez appeared again in court today on three new charges of animal cruelty, after Richmond police stopped by his residence last Friday and witnessed feces strewn about the back deck where the dogs were kept.
His next court date is set for June 26th and all charges will be discussed further then.
