As the winter weather moves into Central Kentucky, the National Weather service worked to prepare emergency responders in the area. According to the information provided, rain will begin early this morning, then transition to a wintry mix up until noon.
Friday afternoon, it will turn to freezing rain and around this time will be crossing near the i-75 corridor. By tomorrow evening, snow and a wintry mix will be falling across central Kentucky. Accumulations are reported to possible continue into the weekend.
