JACKSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police say they found a man dead inside a car after being called out to a domestic disturbance in Jackson County.
Investigators arrived on the scene about midnight.
Police say they found a man’s body inside a car outside a home on Old Island City Road near the Owsley County line. Authorities say the man had been shot.
State police tell LEX 18 that a neighbor had called 911 to report a domestic disturbance between a husband and wife.
Police said they believe other family members were inside the home at the time of the shooting.
Authorities have not released the name of victim, and no one was in custody.
