If you aren’t aware, today, June 14th, is Flag Day. The Lion’s club of Richmond puts up flags all around town six times a year, including today. The flags, which can be seen prominently at the courthouse among other areas, are sponsored by both businesses and private parties.
They explain how this is one of their biggest fundraisers of the year, and a little bit about the history of the group as well as the significance of the flags.
