After being announced as suspended much to the dismay of many musical colonels, the eastern Kentucky University Marching Band has announced that they are making a comeback.
The Marching colonels put out a call, stating that the free elective class needs enrollment, regardless of major, now that it will be returning in 2018. High school students will also be given an opportunity to perform with the colonels at home football games. Also offered when students enroll would be the option for a $500 scholarship, no lab fee, as well as the option to move onto the campus beautiful early.
Former Band Director for Madison Central Brent Barton says he, along with his friends that are faculty at EKU in the music department, are glad to see the option of bringing the legacy back to Eastern.
