Friday is the day for the annual Christmas parade, and downtown Richmond is already decorated for the event.
The theme of the Richmond Christmas parade this year is “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas”. The parade route will begin at the Alumni coliseum lot at 6:45 and will be downtown by 7:00, and will then turn right on Lancaster and continue through main street, ending at Collins street.
The bands will join the parade after University Drive. Be sure to listen to live coverage of the 2017 parade on 100.7 The Coyote. WBON-TV will be at the parade as well covering the route.
