After a delay in the hearing from earlier this week, the two men accused of killing Richmond Officer Daniel Ellis are appearing in court this afternoon for a possible plea deal.
Gregory Ratliff and Raleigh Sizemore Junior are both facing the capital murder charges. However, with the possible plea in the works, the two would not be facing the death penalty for the 2015 death of the Richmond police officer.
Family and friends of Ellis have taken to social media to express their concerns with this potential plea this morning.
