Last night around 9 p.m. there was a deadly accident on Lexington Road in Richmond involving a motorcycle and truck. The accident scene was near the entrance to Boones Trace Subdivision. WBONTV spoke to Coroner Jimmy Cornelison, who says that when he arrived at the scene, it appeared that a truck traveling north heading towards the river and motorcyclist heading south going up a hill collided.
Cornelison says that the motorcycle was under the front of the truck, and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. There are no injuries to the truck driver that Cornelison is aware of.
The deceased is 25-year-old Justin Ray Napier, of Elizabethtown. A toxicology report is pending as normal procedure and he died from blunt-force trauma.
