This morning at Camp Catalpa park, the official start to the season began with a ribbon cutting. A good sized crowd gathered for the event to witness the beginning of another spring and summer at the bird sanctuary and park.
Director of Recreation/Administration for the Parks & Recreation Department Erin Moore spoke to WBON-TV about the event, and said this is especially an important year as there have been updates to the shelters, pathways, disc golf course, and the new playground.
