A Danville man described as armed and dangerous is sought by the Boyle County Sheriff in related to a kidnapping and assault case. Law enforcement reports that 22 year old Kyle Smith assaulted a woman after she dropped her children off at a daycare in Danville. According to the victim, she was forced into a vehicle with Smith and he threatened to kill her before she was able to escape by jumping from the moving vehicle.
Smith is described as a black male standing 6 foot three and weighing 230 pounds. He was last seen driving a green, 1999 mercury villager. He will be charged with robbery, auto theft, and kidnapping at the least according to investigators.
They warn that he is dangerous, and to call police immediately if he is spotted.
