Dear Parents, Students and Guardians,
A threat was made today outside of school through social media toward an individual student at Estill County High School. As soon as the administration learned of the incident, they immediately acted upon the information received. The school resource officer and principal have thoroughly investigated the threat and the situation has been resolved. The student who was threatened and his/her parents have been notified.
At no point was the student body or faculty in any danger. The district has taken legal and disciplinary actions necessary to maintain a safe learning environment at Estill County High School.
