Ahead of the primaries on Tuesday, Madison County has some exciting improvements to the polling systems. According to County Clerk Kenny Barger, Madison is now one of two counties statewide that will be using ipads instead of the old system to get people checked in to vote on Tuesday. A training took place at the Madison County Extension Office where dozens of poll workers attended to get the ins and outs of the new system.
Barger explains the new innovations as the future of the voting system, with each iPad containing the entire voter registration database in Madison County.
