Crews are currently still on scene on Concord Road in Richmond at a death investigation.
WBONtv spoke to Coroner Jimmy Cornelison who says this may be related to the robbery and car chase that we covered yesterday. He says the body of the male has been sent off for an autopsy, and that Kentucky State Police have begun a death investigation.
The area where the body was found, in a field off of Concord Road, is extremely muddy and has made the death investigation more difficult to perform.
Cornelison says that there is no confirmation on whether this is related to the story from yesterday as the victim and suspect have not been identified.
At the moment no more information has been released. We are working to get more information.
