A man is apparently at large following an apparent car and foot chase in Richmond near Waco late last night before midnight.
According to Richmond Police and the Sheriff’s Department, a car matching the description of an apparent robbery suspect was seen on 52 heading towards Irvine. Police attempted to initiate a traffic stop, but the suspect allegedly kept going onto a side road, where their truck got stuck.
A deputy’s cruiser also reportedly got stuck in the mud during the pursuit, and the suspect headed away on foot. Even though a K9 unit was deployed, the suspect did evade police.
Police assure WBONtv that they have questioned suspects, and they are aware of the person involved although an arrest has not been made as of press time.
