Now that the $5 million expansion on the Richmond branch of the Madison County Public Library is officially underway, there are some changes to take note of while construction is taking place.
WBON-TV spoke with Director of the Library Ruthie Maslin, who said that parking has changed a bit, but that there are new advancements to make usage of the library during the changes easier for patrons. New drop off boxes can be found at three locations around town, and the BookMobile can be found across Main Street at the Christian Church for book browsing and return.
Maslin also discusses the exciting new changes that are coming for the new three-level library, and the timeline for the project. The new building and meeting spaces are set to be complete by December 2018.
