Former American Idol star and Lancaster, Kentucky’s favorite son Alex Miller played the big stage of the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee last night for the very first time.

Among other songs, Miller sang his latest single just release entitled “My Daddy‘s Dad”, a tribute to his grandfather who Miller credits for giving him his passion for country music, especially the classics.
Miller was in good company at the Opry last night. Another Kentucky and Garrard County native, Eddie Montgomery was on the ticket along with legendary singer/songwriter Jimmy Fortune of Statler Brothers fame. Miller is currently touring throughout the summer at various fairs and venues. Congratulations to Alex for a very big and memorable night.
