Following the deadly accident this morning on I75, the Coroner was on the scene here in Madison County.
The fatal crash occurred around 6 a.m. this morning on southbound I-75 at the 90 B exit.
WBONtv spoke to the Coroner, who said a 35-year-old male was driving the vehicle when he hit an abandoned van. The victim was the only person in the car.
The ramp was closed for a time, and the interstate was not affected by the crash.
Coroner Cornelison says that the family is being contacted, and the wife is aware of the death. A toxicology report is in the works to be safe. Watch the video to hear his full statement.
