ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Police say a death investigation is underway after two people died in an Estill County home.
Reportedly it happened Saturday afternoon on Hood Avenue in Irvine.
Police say a woman barricaded herself in a home, and a man and a woman are both now dead.
Reportedly police tried to negotiate to get her to come outside and set off smoke bombs before they entered the home.
The man and woman have been identified as Barbara Williams, 68, and Charles Williams, 71, and we’re told their bodies are being sent to Frankfort for autopsies.
Police are investigating what led to their deaths.
