This week WBONTV will be in Irvine as the Engineers host Western Hills for the game of the week. Estill County coming off a loss to top five Paintsville at Paintsville will be looking for their first win on the season against a good team from Frankfort. Western Hills has arguably the best player in the state of Kentucky in Wandale Robinson has offers from some of the top college programs in the country including Alabama, Michigan, Nebraska, and Kentucky. In his career he has scored 69 touchdowns and rushed for 5000 yards.
After all the hype to Robinson the Engineers will have to slow him down, last week in the loss to Franklin County he rushed for 215 yards. He averaged 8 yds a carry and scored two touchdowns. He also caught a 75 yard touchdown pass. You get past Wandale and Western Hills doesn’t have a lot of offense. In game one they threw the ball only seven times completing the one long touchdown to Wandale. They threw two interceptions.
In game one Estill matched up with a very good Paintsville team and was held scoreless, Estill only attempted three passes completing one. Justin Stamper led the rushing with 23 yards, Cody Hattan added 16 yards and Corbin Clem with 8 yards. Eli Haskell had 4 tackles to lead the defense with Jonovan Miller and Jonothon Short with 3 tackles each.
