An accident that occurred today heading towards Waco has resulted in the death of one man.
Coroner for Madison County Jimmy Cornelison tells Wbontv that the deceased has been identified as 69-year-old Dwight D. Stansill from Charlie Norris Road in Richmond.
He was traveling East on Highway 52 and was turning left into Greens Crossing Road when he was struck by a vehicle heading westbound on Irvine road.
The victim was alone in his vehicle, according to Cornelison. The other driver was in a truck pulling a trailer and did not seem to need medical assistance according to the coroner.
