Continuing the top the top ten at number nine the Spartans of Caudill winning back to back state championships.
This team has had one of the most incredible runs in recent memory in Madison County as the 8th grade team finishes their middle school careers with a record of 58-1. They have played for three consecutive state championships losing as 6th graders before taking the past two titles while going undefeated. Head Coach David Hensley, a former Madison Central assistant coach and former Head Coach at Dunbar and East Jessamine, has led the Spartans.
This season Caudill defeated Corbin to claim the championship 26-6. Kenyatta Hodge scored three touchdowns in the title game and Brady Hensley added a TD.
The future looks bright for Madison Central football, a team coming off a one win season this year after advancing to the regional championship the previous season. The Indians were a young football team last season and with the Spartans players a couple of years away they look to rebound sooner than later.
