The University of Kentucky Football program has been surrounded by hype and disappointment ever since Mark Stoops took over as head coach. However last year after a rough start, the Wildcats turned it around and finished with six wins on the season and got themselves into a bowl game. Their biggest win of the season came in the final game when the Wildcats knocked off in-state rival Louisville and eventual Heisman trophy winner, Lamar Jackson 41-38. Now even more hype surrounds the team as the team gets ready for the 2017-18 campaign. The Wildcats will kick off the season September 2nd at Southern Miss.
