WBONTV stopped by the 2019 Colonel Classic at the University Club at Arlington to check out some great golfers.
The 54 hole event began on Friday morning with 13 teams competing. Teams from Akron, Ball State, Belmont, the university of Dayton, Northern Illinois, Ohio University, EKU and more competed to bring home the title for this event, in which the team from EKU had won three of the last five years.
Last year EKU finished second behind Xavier University, after a playoff decided the eventual champion. So far this season, EKU has competed in eight events finishing second one time, and third on two occasions. Elsa Moberly leads the team with a 74.54 stroke average.
