A complaint of stolen money led to an arrest on prostitution charges for a woman from Ravenna.
According to Richmond Police Department, they arrived and spoke with the co-defendant, John Isaacs, who told officers that Nina F. Johnson had stolen $420 from him. Isaacs said he had picked up Johnson, and allegedly loaned her the money to clean and do odd jobs for him.
However upon further speaking with police, Isaacs’s story was inconsistent and he later admitted to investigators that he had picked Johnson up for the purpose of prostitution. He allegedly told police that the two did not engage in sex, but that it, “probably was going to happen before all of this.”
When searched, the $420 was located in Johnson’s bra, as well as an additional $256.
Johnson was arrested and charged with Prostitution (Solicitation) as well as on a previous warrant and lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.
