Kentucky State Police have arrested a man in connection to a fatal stabbing which happened in Mt. Vernon last month.
26 year-old Arturo Perez was taken into custody Tuesday night before being charged with the murder of 54 year-old Famey Hellard.
Hellard was reportedly found dead inside her business, The Glitter Box, in September.
According to authorities, Perez told them he stabbed the victim following the robbery of the store.
Perez was charged with Murder, 1st Degree Robbery, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
