A Richmond man is now in jail, following an alleged incident involving an attempted attack and a struggle with authorities.
While patrolling the Ballard Drive area, a police officer was flagged down by a female subject who claimed that Tatarekova Jones was striking the front windshield of her vehicle with his fists, with the intent of breaking it.
During this reported incident, another female subject and a child were also in the vehicle.
After the nearby official was notified of the situation, Jones allegedly ran inside his residence. According to police, Jones violently opened the door and stood in an aggressive stance.
The arrest citation indicates that Jones refused to step outside when asked by authorities to do so, pulling away and attempting to retreat back into the residence. Jones was identified by one of the officials, as he had a bench warrant for his arrest.
Once Jones was moved to the front porch area, he allegedly kept refusing to cooperate by flexing his arms and threatening to fight officers.
Jones was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center, where he was charged with Resisting Arrest, Menacing, 2nd Degree Wanton Endangerment, and 2nd Degree Disorderly Conduct.
