Although it is not known exactly how he got out of the jail, police in Rockcastle County are looking for an escaped inmate.
Rockcastle County Detention Center officials report that John McClure escaped around 5:00p.m. on Sunday, and they are on the lookout for him.
McClure was being held on charges of 3rd degree burglary, criminal mischief, and persistent felony offender.
Anyone with information on Mcclure’s location is asked to call law enforcement immediately.
