With a chain of more than 1,800 in North America, and more than 30 in the state of Kentucky, Planet Fitness is opening up its first Richmond location this year.
WBONTV spoke to the Planet Fitness Marketing Manager Ken Horn who told us the anticipated opening date and what people can expect.
The 20,000 sqft facility is anticipated to open towards the end of 2019, in the late December.
The new store will be located on Boggs Lane.
Memberships are said to start selling around Thanksgiving, depending on the progress of the construction this summer.
Planet Fitness’ membership is a no-commitment basis. People are allowed to cancel their membership at anytime with no penalties. Anyone can now achieve their fitness dreams at their own leisure time and start or stop their fitness journey at anytime they want.
