CINCINNATI, Ohio – Senior Nick Mayo became the all-time leading scorer in Eastern Kentucky University men’s basketball history on Saturday night in the Colonels’ 95-77 loss at Xavier. Mayo finished the game with 25 points, six rebounds, two assists and a career-high five steals. His three-pointer at the 10:58 mark of the first half gave him 1,835 career points, moving him past Matt Witt (2002-06) to No. 1 on EKU’s all-time scoring list. Nick is averaging 24.5 points per game this season. That leads the Ohio Valley Conference He is 9th in the Country in scoring.
