The Berea Police Department were led on a chase the evening of Wednesday, July 13th, 2022 involving a tractor and multiple police cruisers. Jared Wehrle, 34, allegedly led Berea Police on a chase through the Berea Country Club yesterday evening where he was eventually detained after sticking the tractor in a creek.
Authorities say Wehrle had a warrant out for his arrest and was allegedly under the influence.
Wehrle has been charged with wanton endangerment of a police officer 1st degree, fleeing or evading police in a motor vehicle 1st degree, wanton endangerment 1st degree, criminal mischief 1st degree, fleeing or evading police 2nd degree on foot, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana, and more. Wehrle is currently being housed in the Madison County Detention Center.
