Recently, according to a citation from the Richmond Police Department, Officers were dispatched to 105 North Killarney, Quality Quarters in reference to an alleged physical altercation between a male subject and a hotel owner.
The altercation allegedly consisted of the male subject identified as Jeremy Woods hitting the hotel owner over the head.
Upon arrival, Officers report taking statements from the hotel owner and the working receptionist at the time.
The owner stated he heard a female tenant calling for help and after investigating, allegedly found himself in a physical altercation with Woods, that would leave him with an alleged bump on the side of his head. He further stated Woods ran from the scene and escaped his sight.
Officers would further locate Woods, according to the citation, in a parking lot, kneeling down and crying. Woods spoke to officers and stated he was drinking all day and just wanted to go home. He was arrested and transported to the Detention center, but during the ride officers report Woods admitted to using heroin 3 hours earlier, right before he allegedly started hitting his head on the interior of the patrol car.
At the Detention Center, Woods allegedly fell from his chair and started having a possible seizure. EMS was called, and after Woods was cleared medically he was then finally transported to the Detention Center on charges of Assault 4th Degree and Public Intoxication.
