The Madison County Board of Education held its first meeting of the 2020 Spring Semester on Thursday, January 9. WBON TV’s very own Samantha Burford was elected as the new Chair of the Board during the meeting. Various schools across Madison County showed their appreciation to the Board by presenting them with gifts and special tributes. Madison County Schools was presented with a handsome check via the Bluegrass Chemical Agent Destruction Pilot Plant (BCADPP). This was a reward for its faculties’ tireless work to better the students of Madison County’s elementary, middle, and high schools.
