A London man was charged with murder early Wednesday morning following an investigation conducted by the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office regarding a domestic argument.
According to investigators, the argument led to a shooting at a residence in the Lovelace area on Tuesday night. Officials with the Sheriff’s office say that during a verbal argument inside the home, James Morgan shot his stepson once in the chest causing a fatal injury to the victim.
The victim was later pronounced deceased at the scene. Morgan was arrested and lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center where he was charged with Murder.
