From a Press release from KSP:
The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post was notified just before 10:00 am this morning after a possible body was located off of Rock Lick Road.
The initial investigation indicates, an unidentified body has been recovered after being found near the side of the road. The remains have been taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort for an autopsy and identification.
Anyone with information about the deceased’s identity or with information that would be pertinent to the investigation is asked to contact the KSP Richmond Post at 859.623.2404.
The ongoing death investigation is being conducted by KSP Post 7 Detective Anthony Bowling. He was assisted at the scene by KSP Personnel, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, and the Jackson County Coroner.
