Jack Burford Classic Starts this week at Madison Central
Starting Wednesday the 20th ten local girls basketball teams will converge on Madison Central to play in a round Robbin tournament. Host team Madison Central welcome’s in district rival Madison Southern (3-3), Harrison County (5-2), Garrard County (4-4), Pike County Central (7-0), Menifee County (5-1), Pulaski County (2-5), Whitley County (6-1), Belfry (6-1), and the newest team in the 11th region Frederick Douglas (3-5).
All the teams will play three games. Six dollars a day will get you six games! Some of the top players you can see are Frederick Douglas star Destyne Jackson, Menifee County Emma Hacker (17 PPG) Madison Southern freshman Samantha Cornelison (15PPG), Pike County Central Kylea Stanley (15PPG) and Cassidy Mullins (15PPG),Belfry Kailee Rash (13PPG), and Garrard County former Lady Eagle Ashlyn Clark (12PPG) and Lady Indian star Bailey Vanover (11PPG). Come over and stay warm and watch some great basketball.
