The Berea Food Bank has some good news for residents: they will distribute 1,200 food boxes this Thursday, October 15th from 3:30 p.m. To 6:30 p.m. at Madison Southern High School on Glades Road in Berea.
Residents will have the opportunity to receive 30lb boxes full of fresh meats, dairy products, and produce. Everyone is welcome and no documentation is required. However, boxes will be given away on a first-come, first served basis. WBONTV spoke to coordinator of the food bank Tony Crachiolo to get all the details in the video below.
Crachiolo says that they have received a vast amount of support from local churches and organizations, including 60 volunteers from Berea Boy Scouts, Berea Girl Scouts, Girls Basketball Teams and Boy’s Basketball teams from Madison Southern to help hand out the boxes to those that drive up.
