A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for portions of south central Indiana and Central Kentucky by the National Weather Service. Including Madison, Fayette, Nicholas, and Garrard, in our viewing area. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight. The pressure gradient will tighten across the region today. Expect wind gusts of 25-30 mph this afternoon and this evening. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Strong gradient winds are likely Thursday as a cold front pushes into the region. Non thunderstorm wind gusts of 35-40 mph will be possible. Multiple waves of rain showers with moderate to heavy rainfall are expected from Thursday through Saturday night. A few embedded thunderstorms are possible, but severe weather is not expected. Total rainfall amounts of 2-4 inches with locally higher amounts will be possible across the outlook area. This may lead to localized flooding issues.
