Including Madison, Fayette, Nicholas, and Garrard, in our viewing area. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight. The pressure gradient will tighten across the region today. Expect wind gusts of 25-30 mph this afternoon and this evening. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Strong gradient winds are likely Thursday as a cold front pushes into the region. Non thunderstorm wind gusts of 35-40 mph will be possible. Multiple waves of rain showers with moderate to heavy rainfall are expected from Thursday through Saturday night. A few embedded thunderstorms are possible, but severe weather is not expected. Total rainfall amounts of 2-4 inches with locally higher amounts will be possible across the outlook area. This may lead to localized flooding issues.
