Estill firefighter crews experienced an early Thursday morning blaze at the Covey Road residence that previously saw the fatal Tuesday night house fire.
Crews arrived to the scene around 2 a.m. Thursday and spent hours extinguishing the latest flames. An arson investigator was also called in this morning, as firefighters believe that the fire was not rekindled naturally.
This development comes after a body was discovered at the residence Tuesday night after the initial fire occurred. Officials transported the remains to Frankfort to conduct an autopsy.
