Crews from multiple fire departments have responded to a large commercial building fire on Friday afternoon in Bath County.
WBON-TV Channel 9 has confirmed the building houses the local Christian Social Services, an organization known for helping the less fortunate in the area.
The fire closed Slate Avenue/KY 36 which was blocked in downtown Owingsville, near the US 60 intersection.
Reports say crews from Rowan, Menifee and Montgomery counties all responded with mutual aid.
It appears the building is now a total loss.
