On Sunday near the area of Hallie Irvine St, the Richmond Police Department report responding to a domestic violence complaint. The victim stated that 44 year old Jamie Garner reportedly pushed her down on the bed and allegedly started to choke her.
Garner allegedly admitted to police of pushing the victim by the shoulders onto the bed, but claimed she did not strangle her.
Police reportedly identified red marks on the victim’s neck. This led to the arrest and lodging of Garner into the Madison County Detention Center on charges of Strangulation 1st degree and Assault 4th degree.
