Today marked a somber occasion that many in Richmond and surrounding areas will never forget.
As is now tradition, Richmond Police Department held a wreath laying ceremony and moment of silence to honor fallen officer Daniel Ellis, who was shot and killed during a robbery investigation in 2015.
WBONTV’s Samantha Burford was there to help continue the memory of the officer on the anniversary of his end of watch.
