After the investigation has progressed for Deputy Jailer Billy Bales who allegedly purchased a controlled substance in official uniform, another man has been taken into custody related to the case.
In addition to Bales, 23 year old Kevin Lamb of Richmond has been taken into custody by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit yesterday. He is charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, 1st Offense.
Lamb was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.
