From a release from the Kentucky State Police:
The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post was contacted this morning after a missing Estill County man was found deceased in a creek off of Fitchburg Road.
The initial investigation indicates that Herbert ‘Leslie’ Burton, 51 years old of Ravenna, was last seen when he walked away from his residence at approximately 3:00 pm on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. KSP Post 7 was called on Thursday afternoon by his family after he failed to return home, prompting a missing person investigation. This morning at approximately 9:15 am, the body of Leslie Burton was found in a creek near his residence, and pronounced deceased at the scene by the Estill County Coroner.
KSP was assisted at the scene by KSP Personnel, KY Fish & Wildlife, Estill County EMS, Estill County Rescue Squad, and the Estill County Coroner.
