After other broken up areas of roadway in Richmond have recently been brought to the City’s attention, an old one has come up again. According to City Manager Rob Minerich, the continually plagued area of Water Street is finally going to get much needed updates, including being completely paved over. We spoke to Minerich, who says these plans are already in the works, and will not impede businesses in the area during the reconstruction.
Minerich also discussed the new charging ports for electric cars that are coming, at no cost to the city, to downtown near City Hall. Minerich says this is an opportunity to bring Richmond to the newest in technological innovations. Watch the video here:
