A police officer in Powell County makes an arrest after being hit by a vehicle.
Stanton Police say Sgt. Donovan Crabtree responded to a call on Sunday of an impaired driver. When he arrived on scene, Police say the driver sped away and hit Sgt. Crabtree with his vehicle.
Stanton Police say the suspect, Kenneth Brian Dunn, 34, led the police on a high-speed chase. Police say Sgt. Crabtree was able to catch up to Dunn and arrest him.
Dunn faces numerous charges in the case including wanton endangerment of a police officer and fleeing/evading the police.
