Last night kicked off our 44th District Tournament action. The Madison Southern Eagles were set to take on he Berea Pirates.
The Madison Southern girls got started on the right foot holding the Pirates to 17-3 in the first quarter and there seemed no way to stop them. Berea made a push to try to come back but after battling it out the Southern Eagle girls defeated he Berea Pirate girls 48-30.
The Madison Southern boy took control of the game and once they got going there was no holding back. After fighting through the foul trouble the Eagle boys defeated the Pirate boys 64-50
