Irvine American Legion Post to Close Amid Threats

American Legion Post 79 closed its doors Wednesday, after receiving apparent threats. Kentucky State Police and Internal Affairs are currently investigating the matter. The decision to temporarily cease operation came from the Department Commander after threats were made towards “local and state American Legion officials”. The Post will reopen once the investigations are completed.
